Know foreign country culture is really an important to everyone, especially to us. So we need to have a wonderful dinner with 12mentors. Our group decided to met at 6:30 at Hu Nan Road, because the restaurant we chose was very hard to found, so 12 mentors would led us to that restaurant named MY PLACE. It is a American restaurant.
After everyone came, we started us today’s plan. When we arrived there, I was surprised. Its door was very special and beautiful. The 12 mentors told us because of the lower rent for this house, so the owner that from Singapore chose this place.
We all chose the same meal. The first meal was salad with some vegetables and fruit and a dish of dry breads and butters. I guess the cook must put some special seasonings into it so that this salad has a special taste that was very delicious. The second meal was noodles. I did not eat too much because there were some pimientos and garlic in it and I can not eat hot food. Then, the third meal was some roast meat and rice. It was a pity that I can not eat hot food. So I had to give up this food. The last meal was steaks. I think the steak’s cook time was too long and it was very hard to cut and chaw.
After this meal, our group played some game in order to know us. I think the environment and service in this restaurant was very good. The people in here were always the foreigners. Next time, I think I will take my family and friends to there to invite there have a authentic foreign dinner. I think this dinner was just so so, because I am a Chinese. I think Chinese food is very different from American food. But I will to try to suit it.
